What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavior Therapy(  CBT) is practical therapy that  teaches you specific ways of challenging your own thoughts.  Other types of therapy often focus on looking in your past for people to blame rather than spending time looking backward at how you got the anxiety.  There is more acceptance and moving forward. Why you have the anxiety does not matter and you can spend more time accepting this condition and learning new strategies.

CBT therapists help with identifying negative and inaccurate thinking.  Helping you become aware of your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs and reshaping negative and inaccurate thinking.   Most people with anxiety benefit from CBT and medication combined, except fI have my own success stories using CBT to help with my insomnia, anxiety, and depression.
